SHP 8th Oct- Wollongong Torchlight Wildlife Walk (night activity)Program Information
Movement Five will be attending Wollongong Botanic Garden’s Torchlight Wildlife Walk. Participants can explore the gardens as the sun goes down and discover local wildlife becoming active at dusk. After a short Animal Life Presentation or torchlight games for kids, we will head off to explore various areas of the Garden to see who we can spot. Animals that may be encountered include Tawny Frogmouths, Possums, Eastern Dwarf Tree Frogs, and a whole bunch of mini beasts, including the glass shrimps and Giant Water Spiders.
Participants must be able to complete a 1hour walk.
What to bring:
- Torch
- Comfortable walking shoes
- Water bottle
- A light jacket or jumper
- Insect repellent
Please dress appropriately for the weather and bring any required personal items or medication.

4pm – 8.30pm
- Pick up and drop off times will depend on location and will be shown on our Caremaster app closer to the date.
Out of Pocket Cost
Ticket cost: Â $34.70
Tickets will be pre purchased online so cash or bank transfer is needed to reimburse.
